About Us
Amara Arts brings the art traditions of the African Diaspora to the Midwest through dance and performance. Based in St. Louis, we create cultural experiences through mermaid shows, choreography for weddings and parties, and immersive dance performances for curated events. Whether it’s a salsa workshop, a lively celebration, or a mermaid performance that tells a story, we infuse artistry and our heritage into every moment.
Do you have an Afro-diasporic dance, character acting, or arts administration background?
We're always looking to add part time assistants, dancers, and mermaids/mer-tenders to our professional team!
