        BÉLÉ

Bélé dance is named after the Bélé drum used across various Caribbean islands including Martinique, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, St. Lucia, and others. With influences from African fertility dances and French courting dances, Bélé dance is meant to preserve and teach the history and culture of the island.

We can perform this choreography at your event!

        MERMAID PERFORMANCE

Mermaids are captivating and magical! We are inspired by the grace of West African water spirits, the mystery of Afro Caribbean mermaid legends, and the magic of mermaid princess stories. Amara Arts mermaids promote sustainability by slipping in light lessons on recycling, reducing plastic use, and fun facts about our oceans and waterways.

Would you like to have a mermaid in Saint Louis swim over to your next event?
